|The cottage is nestled in the bottom of the valley on a working farm. It is the original 1800's homestead. It now has three bedrooms, one bath and a large outdoor deck. This is a whole house rental, with complete privacy. The owner lives on the same property in the barn loft, so she is available if you need her, but not in the house with you.||
|The Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes so you can cook up a meal with your local foods. The eat-in kitchen table seats six comfortably. Local bacon, eggs, baked goods and all the essentials for cooking 2 breakfasts are available for you. A complimentary bottle of local Puchta wine will be awaiting your arrival.|
|The living room has plenty of comfortable seating, places to put your feet up, a flat-screen television and an electric fireplace. This room is designed for comfort and relaxation with a chenille couch, toleware lamps, Persian rug and great lighting for reading and watching TV.|
|For the workaholic there is a desk with WiFi to work at.|
|The Master Bedroom has a tall king-size bed, with soft cotton linens and fluffy duvet for chilly nights. A reading chair and armoire for clothes makes for a cozy sanctuary.|
The Cubby Room is also the original one room log home. The built-in twin size beds have drapes to pull closed, reading lamps and little shelves for personal belongings. Each bed also has a vintage quilt and embroidered pillows.
The bookshelf above has a wide range of older books - mysteries, biographies and short stories. The couch is oversized and can accommodate an additional person if more than 6 guests are staying.
|The Back Porch Bedroom used to be the original front porch when the road came down thru the woods. It has two full walls of windows and faces East, so early risers love this room. The tall, full-size antique bed, with soft chair and ottoman make this quiet little getaway bedroom a favorite.|
The Bathroom has a full-size claw foot tub against windows overlooking the back pasture and a double sink vanity with plenty of storage.
Local handmade soaps and moisturizers are available for purchase or you can bring your own.
